We post our most commonly asked headshot questions in this section. Please check it out before you get in touch.

For maximum flexibility and simplicity our pricing models uses a base cost session fee and a separate image purchase. For example, if you book a 1 person/1 look (15 minute) session the initial cost is $150. After the completion of your photo session you decide how many images your would like to purchase. Each digital image purchase is $25. If you choose to purchase 3 images – the total image cost is $75.

Session Fee: $150 + Image Purchase: $75 = Total Spend: $225

Great headshots rely on great expressions, and once you start adding distractions like furniture and props you may take away valuable composition space that make your headshot personable and effective, so for this reason we typically keep the props and furniture to a minimum. However, in some cases it may make sense to demonstrate more than an expression in a photo so we may pull out some props and furniture to help convey the intent of the images. Sessions with furniture will typically require longer than a 15 minute session. Please contact us with your vision and we will direct you to the booking necessary to realize your vision.

Typical deliverables are sent out within 3 business days of image selection and payment. Same day rush delivery is available for an additional fee. Rush delivery can be added during the online booking process

Headshot sessions are limited by time, and typically there is not enough time within a 15 minute session for multiple outfits. Please upgrade to a longer session if you would like to do multiple outfits. Simple outfit changes like removing a jacket or glasses can easily be accommodated within a typical 15 minute session.

Corporate bookings can upgrade to a 2nd look by checking the add on during checkout.

Actor bookings can upgrade to a 2nd look by selecting the appropriate amount of looks during booking.

Headshot sessions are limited by time, and typically there is not enough time within a 15 minute session to get great headshots and also great full body photos. Please use the “upgrade to full body shots” add on during checkout if you would like to also do full body shots.

Chaperones, friends, and well wishers are encouraged. However, multiple individuals cannot share a “1 person” or “1 look” booking. Please book the appropriate number of individuals for your corporate session, or entirely separate sessions for actors.

Typically for corporate sessions we stick to a neutral color like grey. Neutrals allow us maximum flexibility in post production to create a color scheme that compliments your outfit and skin tone.

Actor headshots allow us to flex our creative muscle a bit more and we can be a bit more liberal with background choices, however, classic and neutral grey is also a popular choice.

Our studio is very capable so we can accommodate most background requests for both corporate and actor photoshoots. Specialty backgrounds like heritage brick are possible, however, require working from a separate facility which will incur additional fees.

A look is the creative direction taken by your photographer. This can include style of light, background choice, colors, pose, and all other things that go into creating an exceptional and cohesive headshot. A typical example of a 2 look session for corporate individuals can include a professional look with business attire and also a more casual look with more casual attire and relaxed poses. A 2 look actor session can include a look that is applicable to a wide variety of roles and another separate look that is more focused for a specific role.

Professional hair and make up is recommended for both corporate and actor sessions. Our typical sessions booked on the daily do not include hair and make up services, however, an artist can be arrange for you at additional expense. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a make up artist with your headshot session.
